Well, I finally went and done it.
I moved to Wordpress.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love Typepad. Love it, love it, love it. But WP is crazy flexible… And once I figured out what those custom fields are capable of, I really didn't have a choice. Okay, I did have a choice. But saying that I didn't have a choice makes me feel better. And I like to feel better, okay?
Plus, I'm saving myself the $15 bucks a month…
Which is, like, four no-whip venti mochas.
And I'm the type of gal who truly appreciates four no-whip venti mochas, you know what I'm saying?
So the new design is super clean. The colors seem to work really well for me, and I love how the layout turned out. Of course, there may be some tugs and glitches here and there… So if you spot one, please let me know.
I've re-routed the feed to Feedburner, same as I did over at Typepad, so if you're a subscriber; you should still be good to go… And if you're one of the fabulous people who have stolen the "I heart Shakespeare" buttons, you're great. The images are still around somewhere, so they won't change at all.
However, I did make a new button if you'd like to upgrade. (*hint*hint*) The code is at the bottom of the sidebar- which is visible on every page but the homepage.
So… what do 'ya think?

I. HATE. you. I still spend like…3 hours a day just staring at the full screen version of my blogger template, in tears. This is gorgeous. I demand that you reserve the first spot on your calendar for me. Because I want a whole new template now.

I am trying to learn WP myself…I always wondered what the custom fields were for…lol…I have seen what others do with it so I want to so be able to make cool stuff with it to. Of course, it will have to wait awhile for Podling to get a bit older now. :-D

I have wordpress installed on my domain and everything and I haven't gotten the guts up to just switch. I'm scared I'll lose ALL of my readers.
So it just redirects to blogger now. I'm such a dork.

I lost HALF of my feed subscribers when I first changed… But it I fixed it once I figured out the proper redirects. Much harder than I expected but WORTH it. :)
