It’s the Superbowl— and Louisiana smells like bbq and beer.

In case you’ve been under a rock somewhere in Canada, you know that the Saints are in the Superbowl for the first time EVER. Everything in the state closed down at 3 this afternoon…

And the world smells so good that you wanna stick your head out of the window and hang your tongue out like a dog.

Here in Shakespeare-ville, we’re bbq’ing the regular goodies as well as duck breast wrapped in jalapeno and bacon.

YUM.

I don’t live under a rock. . . but I do live in a city built on a swamp in Canada, so imagine my shock when my usual Sunday programing was rudely interrupted with football when the REAL football season has been over for a couple of months now!

But I am glad you got a decent excuse to BBQ and drink beer!Looks great!

Ooooh… what do you usually watch on Sundays? Beyond ‘Big Love’, I’ve got nothing on that night. Any suggestions?

Buried under the snow here, dammit, I miss my February BBQ!

    And what, no shrimp?

Dude… we totally ate leftover goodies from hunting season. Deer sausage, lots of duck, et cetera. Now there’s room in my freezer for the good stuff- like Hot Pockets and shit.

    OK, I didn’t know, but then again I don’t live there :)
Those bacon wrapped duck breasts look just divine… try bacon wrapped around cherries (the preserved ones) next time – just as yum! And a nice contrast with the sweetness of the cherry

Hey Chicky, I sent you an email…not a code question or anything…just a potential project, only if you’re game. Totally OK if you’re not, just wanted to make sure you got it.

Hope all is well with you girl;)
