When we were little girls, my mother always told us that bringing wildflowers inside the house would make us pee in the bed.

I think I was sixteen before I realized that that wasn’t at all true…

And what a deviously clever mother I had.

My children, unfortunately, are obviously much smarter than me.

    We have a “special” place on the porch for the wildflowers. Lorelei loves picking the little white clover flowers. I put them in jars or vases and then on a plant stand (that functions as a table here) beside our porch swing.

    PS – You could outsmart them and put water in their bed, convince them they peed. Just sayin’ :)
