Because we've all seen that movie, right?
Howdy ho, my dah'ling bloggity friends! It's been a seriously hectic couple of weeks around the Shakespearean abode topped off with Little Man's NINTH birthday on Friday.
Yes, I am old.
And, no, I'm no less hot because of it. :)
But we had a "Make Your Own Pizza" party followed up by a seven o'clock showing of The Spiderwick Chronicles accompanied by a two-hour-long "spend all of the birthday money" shopping spree. And today? Well… Today is the day for little old Judith to get back to work and do a shitload of laundry while simultaneously catching up on all of the design work she deftly avoided this past week while spouting the "I've got to get ready for the birthday" excuse.
Of course, none of that can be done without dropping off me Weekly Winners first…
Oh! And don't forget to check out other Weekly Winners over at Lotus' place!
See you tomorrow! (Seriously- I'm writing "Be Sure to Blog Tomorrow" on my forehead in Sharpie right now.)

Weekly Winners… Oh I have missed you so!
And while I have been avoiding my camera and pretty much all life in general over the last couple of weeks, I have a feeling that my recent bit of shopping therapy may just have made my world a little brighter and perfectly camera-worthy.
After all, I just spent a "I'm gonna have to sell a kidney… and maybe a kid or two" amount on a shiny new professional digital SLR and two equally shiny lenses (it looked naked).
So let's make a date for next Sunday, alright?
Be sure to wear your party panties.
I'll shave my legs.

And who photographs that? :)
We had what I like to refer to as a "lazy week" around the Shakespeare house… Not that I was lazy; I actually got a lot done. After all, I made a cheesecake.
And I finally tackled that huge pile of monster laundry that had been growling at me for days. (It was quite sinister sounding, really. At one point, I was even joyfully contemplating sacrificing a small child in its honor but couldn't catch one long enough to throw it into the laundry room.)
So this week's WWs are a pajamaed, squirrelly bunch that smell a bit like cream cheese and dryer sheets. Enjoy.
Oh! And don't forget to check out all of the other great Weekly Winners over at my favorite sacractic mom's home within a laptop.

So… The family emergency didn't quite last as long as I expected. Which is cool. So I'm back at home diligently washing the smell of smoke (the stepmonster is ruining my father's house with her stinky Marlboros) out of all of our clothes and relishing the thought of sleeping in a bed WITHOUT a child's foot up my various body parts.
I did get a few fun shots while there, however, that are perfect for the WWs. So yippee for me.
(P.S. A great big thanks to all of you who offered support and kind words! You guys never fail to remind me how important friendship- even the friendship created amongst laptops and naptimes- is… )
Weekly Winners is brought to you by my favorite Sarcastic Mom

These are Dad's dogs. They like to try to eat my children… And the children just laugh.
This is the tack room that Dad built out of miscellaneous wood and bits of scrap. Right now, he's working on this huge gameroom that he's managed to turn into an actual bar complete with a karaoke stage… He thinks that I don't know that his creativity stems from not wanting to spend any time with that harridan that he married. My sister and I have already decided to pick out his next wife for him.
His old radio that he loves and she keeps sticking ceramic angels on… Bwahahahaha.
I've got a few more over at my Flickr account if any one is interested! Just click on any of the pics above. :)
Now, I've got loads and loads to catch-up on! Have a Happy Sunday!
