Below you'll find all most of my posts with or about my photography… Sometimes the photos have a few words as company, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they may come with a brief tutorial on how I did that, and sometimes they won't. But, hopefully, you'll enjoy scrolling through them as much as I did taking them!

Seriously, He Can't Divorce Me Over a Blog Post…

Sunday, August 17, 2008 | 37 responses | Filed Under: Daily & Photabulous & Weekly Winners

Can he?

Anyhow… Behold me Weekly Winners.

If it ever gets under 98 degrees outside, I might start taking pictures of things other than my children and fast food to-go cups. Although I make NO promises.

Playing Pretty Girl

If you ask her to make "pretty eyes", she looks like she's having a seizure.

Silly Boys...

One looks patently bored and the other won't even look at me... For some reason, it appears that they've lost all respect for my camera. Ungrateful wretches.

Pensive

Plotting my death, no doubt...

Count the Bruises

I love the cute skirt/bruised legs combo...

Product Placement by...

This week's product placement sponsored by McDonald's. And my husband's high school baseball team... God, that shirt is OLD.

The Hubby

He's going to kill me. Seriously. But I really loved this picture... And it's my blog. And my camera. And if he didn't want someone to take a naked picture of him, perhaps he should have kept his clothes on. Right?

OH! And if you happen to have a moment or two, would you mind clicking on over to 5 Minutes for Mom and voting for your favorite photo— which would be mine, right? My picture of the baby eating bubbles was chosen as one of twenty finalists out of over 400 entries… I'm losing horribly, of course. But your vote could make me lose a little less. (It's #16 BTW.)

Which is always good. :)

For more Weekly Winners, be sure to head on over to see Lotus! She's got a boy in his underwear too. Have a happy Sunday, folks!

… Where You Finally Call CPS on Me

Stubborn

Hi. It's me, The Middle One. Sorry I haven't been by to say hello lately… Things have been a little crazy around here, and I've been really occupied staring at my mom like she's crazy.

She's started talking to the coffee pot again.

And confusing her panties for her hat.

A lot.

My brother says that it's because she needs a vacation. My mom says it's because she needs more vodka.

Dad just says that she's bonkers…

Whatever it is, I've been a little worried.

Hopeful (Sorta)

And then a couple of days ago, I overheard my mom telling the coffee pot that she might have a chance to go on a little vacation, drink a lot of vodka, and get a lot less bonkers if she could only win some traveling money in some photo contest somewhere.

Things were looking up.

Looking up, indeed.

Pleading

But then all of the other people entered some really great photos in the contest too; and even though she was picked as a finalist, Mom was kind of getting blown out of the water…

She, of course, said that she didn't mind… That those were some really amazing photographs and she isn't really the competitive sort anyhow.

Despair

But me?

I was kind of looking forward to having my "not-crazy because she finally got a grown-up break" mom back.

Oh well.

If you haven't yet done so, please take a moment to stop by 5 Minutes for Mom to vote for my mom's photo, Entry #16 and help put her panties back where they belong.

Thanks,

That Middle One

Silly Daddy, Tricks Are for Kids

*I've been a little ill  (yes, I say "ill". My sister calls this pretentious and snotty.  I call it classy.) the last couple of days, so I haven't been posting as oft as I should. But I'll be back soon… kisses and hugs and diet cokes and all that jazz. *

… And Your Mama's Good Looking.

Monday, August 11, 2008 | 30 responses | Filed Under: Daily & Photabulous

Dude… 5 Minutes for Mom is hosting a summertime photo contest in which they're giving away $500 for a great summertime photo entry… And as Austin City Limits is on my birthday weekend this year, and I'd like nothing more than to leave my husband here to *suffer* with the little Shakespeares while I bake away in the hot Texas sun listening to some really great music, I thought I'd throw my name in the hat and hopefully win a little traveling money.

So if you've got any of that good karma stuff lying about, could you send it on over to my house?

We're all out here.

(Oh! And coffee too, okay?)

… And Then He Said That He's Never Seen Dogma.

Sunday, August 10, 2008 | 36 responses | Filed Under: Daily & Weekly Winners

I didn't really have much time to pick up my camera this week… I'm still buried beneath lots of design work and spent most of my time making things "no not that purple, something a little more violet but not actually violet, you know?"

No, actually I don't.

So here are a few that we took at the park on Monday and then some.

Mind not the blur…

I obviously forgot how to focus. In. Every. Freaking. Picture.

Demmit… Sometimes it's a little hard to keep believing in my perfection.

I just don't know how I do it everyday.

All of my kids are in desperate need of a haircut...
