A double bloody mary has tomato juice and we all know that tomato juice is an acidic fat burning substance that neutralizes any and all added calories. And besides, with this flippin’ heat we need a drink!

Oh man,I’m so sorry to hear. I can relate. My daughter has that look on her face everyday by 8pm. It’s when I can no longer stand “But mommy…I want..”anymore.

My nutrition book that my dietitian gave me says 1 alcohol serving is about 100 calories…12fl oz of beer (regular 4.9%) is 1 alcohol serving plus 1 carb serving…if it is light beer it is 1/2 a carb: distilled spirits like vodka, rum, gin, and whiskey (80 or 86 pf) at 1.5 oz is one alcohol serving (with no carbs!): 1oz of Sake is .5 a serving: 3/5 oz of Sherry is 1 serving of alcohol and one carb, but 5oz of dry red or white wine is just one serving (no carbs).
